Dear Sir/Madame;

I do have an important question:
-It is very much debate for Conserving the Forests, as our consumption of wood from trees and wild animals it is huge and leads to deforestation and extinction of wildlife.
Question:
What do we REALLY need so much wood? Where is that much wood going and what is used for?

My absolute strong believe is that we REALLY need much less wood and that the wood we need to use can be obtained from forests without damage.

I grew-up near an eastern-European forest and the population from near-by villages NEVER cut one tree-was illegal, and never hunted one animal-was illegal; still they were using many forest products-such as mushrooms that they were drying and selling (for good money)to pharmaceutical industry, berries (making jams),etc. They were eating mostly vegetarian- the best and healthiest food I ever encountered around the world (some of it is served as delicacy in Toronto).
HOW ARE WE USING IN REALITY THE MILLIONS OF TONES OF TIMBER FROM TREES' FORESTS?

I look forward for your reply in this matter.

Thank you.
Best Regards,
Carmen Ghanim
