Niki De Sy

Veronique (Niki) De Sy is a PhD candidate at Wageningen University. She is part of the global comparative study on REDD+, focusing on several aspects (e.g. drivers, capacities) of national forest monitoring systems and the interaction with policy and demonstration activities. She holds a Masters in International Land and Water Management from Wageningen University and is interested in spatial modelling of land processes, natural resources management and the interaction between technology and the wider socio-economic context of developing countries.
